Christmas is around the corner so to speak and my all-time favorite present after socks and chocolate is always a new LEGO set.
One day when I grow up (or get older) I will build a LEGO city in my “man cave” (once I have one).
Besides the architecture line, my favorite sets are the 1989’s Black Seas Barracuda (6285), 1990’s International Jetport (6396), Black Monarch’s Ghost (6034), and all the modular buildings.
Interesting fact: in 1955 the LEGO® Group and S.I.B.S. (The Icelandic Association of Tuberculosis and Chest Patients) established a partnership to manufacture and sell sets in the Icelandic market.
Here is an article I wrote earlier this year:
Lego® set as a tool: Enhancing creativity in architecture, urban planning, and design by Armando Garcia and Jan Legeny
